On Tuesday March 20 voters in the PHFPD approved a 4 percent tax increase. I trust that it’s the excellent service all of our members give that instills the public’s trust and confidence in us and convinced them to vote yes. The totsals are 1,219 YES votes = 59.52% to 829 NO votes = 40.48%. THANK YOU to all our residents that supported this measure! A “canvas” of the votes and certification is needed to make it official. The Board of Trustees will do that at the April meeting. Once that is done we will confirm when the additional tax dollars will be paid.
