The Prospect Heights Fire Protection District took delivery of a Ford F250 crew cab short bed 4x4 pickup that will become our new Incident Command vehicle. The truck will go thru several modifications to allow the vehicle to carry special equipment, multiple radios, rehab equipment, extinguishers, CPR devices with AED, safety cones for roadway accidents and countless other items. The vehicle had its first modification completed by "RA Adams" in McHenry Illinois were the storage cap was installed. The vehicle was taken to "Suburban Accents" to have all the signage installed and then to a company for the rims to be powder coated. The final step will be at "MPC" in Glenview where all the emergency lights and radios will be completed. Please keep an eye out for our new addition coming to a street near you.
