As a community while we enjoy additional family time and barbecues we should remember the reason for the holiday. Paying tribute to the soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom. Memorial Day is day to observe and to remember the courageous honorable Americans who have made the ultimate sacrifice and to their families they have left behind, who bear the heartbreak of their loss.
