Thinking outside of the box is something our firefighters are expected to be able to do. Today, members showcased their talents of removing a patient from the roof of our fire station. Crews were asked to demonstrate another option to remove a patient from an elevated platform without the use of our Tower Ladder. Station 9 and 39 crews worked well to solve a problem in a safe and practical way. The end result was removing a 185 pound rescue manikin nice and smoothly. Nice work!
