On Friday August 21 the Prospect Heights Fire District participated in the Dollars for Scholars Golf Ball drop held at Old Orchard Golf Course. Rachael Campbell, who attends Loyola University, was this years’ recipient of the Dollars for Scholars Scholarship. Rachael was given the honor of dropping golf balls from the basket of the Tower Ladder 9. 1 golf ball actually landed in the hole from a height of 30 feet. The winner of the 50/50 pot reportedly donated his winnings back to the Dollars for Scholars Organization.
