Board Honors its Attorney for 30 Years Service

Board of Trustees President Jon Tammen presented Stephen Daday, attorney to the fire district, with a proclamation honoring his 30 years of service to the board and residents of the PHFPD. The proclamation reads:

WHEREAS, In 1987 Stephen Daday was selected by past Board of Trustees President Norman Johnson to serve the Prospect Heights Rural Fire Protection District as its attorney; and

WHEREAS, Stephen Daday has fulfilled that roll since 1987 serving under Board Presidents Norman Johnson, Robert Bremner, Robert Arends, Thomas O’Donoghue, James Cagney, and Jon Tammen; and

WHEREAS, throughout his service to the Prospect Heights Fire Protection District he has provided advice and counsel to its fire chief and board members on a number of matters including, but not limited to, employment, taxation and bonding, annexations and consolidations, and intergovernmental cooperation; and

WHEREAS, after 30 years, Stephen Daday has displayed the very highest caliber of work ethic and his service has been invaluable.

NOW, THEREFORE, on behalf of the Prospect Heights Fire Protection District Board of Trustees, I do hereby proclaim and bestow recognition of his 30 years of service to Stephen G. Daday, Attorney at Law.
