The annual Illinois Fire Safety Alliance burn camp is in June each year. Children of all ages with severe burns are invited to this judgement-free week-long residential event. It costs a lot to run the camp and those donations really help.
A BIG THANK YOU to LT Plonski, FF Hedman, and FF Grish who conducted a Boot Drive to raise additional funds for Burn Camp this past Saturday, May 6th from 8:00 until 13:30 at Tony’s Fresh Market. Andy set things up and he Greg, and Kevin spent the morning raising donations along with some members of Gold Shift who helped out. $847 was raised! They had planned to end at noon but stayed an extra hour and a half.
