The Fire District has honored 9 of their veterans who are members of the Fire District by participating in the City's Honoring our Hero's program. These customized banners can be found on Milwaukee Avenue just south of Palatine Road. These banner display the names and branches of service our active members have served in our Armed Forces. Since these banners were ordered we have also added our newest veteran, Michael Newkirk- ARMY (Welcome Aboard)
