Firefighter Paramedic Walter Prestel started with the Prospect Heights Fire Protection District approximately five years ago and aggressively worked to obtain his Illinois State Fire Certification. He also completed his Illinois Department of Public Health Paramedic license along with other fire certifications. Walter has been offered afull time position with our neighbor, the Arlington Heights Fire Department, and will leave us to advance his career in the fire service. We hope to see him soon and wish him all the best.
