On Saturday, March 8 shortly after 2:00 p.m. Prospect Heights FIrefighters were dispatched to an extra-alarm fire in a townhome in Buffalo Grove. PHFD Squad 39 responded with its crew and were given an assignment to operate a large hose stream in an effort to suppress the fire. PHFD members worked at the scene for several hours before the fire was brought under control.
