On Tuesday, August 5 the Prospect Heights Park District hosted National Night Out. The PH Fire District participated in the event along with the park district, library, police department and other community partners. In addition to handing out swag, merch and fire safety information firefighters demonstrated the use of the "Jaw of Life" to force entry into a auto and simulate the rescue of a trapped person. A fire engine and ambulance were also on display and many questions were answered from both children and adults. We are always excited to engage in this way with our community and its residents.
